Health Screening
With our focus on healthy eating and living UCOM is excited to be able to offer free health screening for our clients. In partnership with the Calvin College nursing program, students provide free blood-pressure checks and blood-sugar testing periodically throughout the school year.
Students from Calvin College will be available at UCOM again starting in the fall.
UCOM is able to frequently make referrals to Spectrum's Core Health Diabetes Program and other community health and dental clinics.
Diabetic supplies are also available to UCOM clients and requests for durable medical supplies such as walkers, canes and wheelchairs are directed to one of our support pantries.
